Mammadov Adil Askerovich, was born on March 18, 1948 in Uzbekistan in a family of doctors.
In 1971 he graduated from the dental faculty of state medical Institute of Kazahstan.
From 1975 to 1977 he was trained in clinical residency in the Department of pediatric surgical dentistry CNIIC
Since 1978, he continued to work at CNIIC as a junior researcher, then as a senior researcher, where in 1986 he defended his thesis on "Endoscopic assessment of the function of the Palatine-pharyngeal ring in children after uranoplasty". In 1989, for the development of "Stavropolpolymer" awarded a bronze medal VDNH USSR.
In December 1997, a dissertation for the degree of doctor of medical Sciences on the topic "Comprehensive rehabilitation of patients with Palatine pharyngeal insufficiency and speech disorders after uranoplasty."
Since 2002 he has been head of the Department of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics of the dental faculty of the first MSMU. I. M. Sechenov
Together with the leading dentists of Russia, Mammadov is the editor of the journal "pediatric dentistry". He is a member of the editorial Board of 3 domestic and three foreign journals in dentistry (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan).
He have developed the centers of rehabilitation of children with congenital pathology of the maxillofacial region in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Magadan, Tula, and Lipetsk.

Currently, he continues regularly give lectures, conducts seminars with clinical residents, graduate students and" master classes " with students studying in the workplace on topical issues of pediatric maxillofacial surgery. He operated more than 4,500 children with this pathology at the age of 0 to 18 years and older.
In 2008 he was awarded the additional qualification of "Teacher of higher education". He is a doctor of the highest category.
. He is a participant in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident (1986). He traveled with the mission "Doctors of the world without borders" in the zone of local conflicts (1998), he is a member of the Association of veterans of the Russian interior Ministry (2009). In February 2012, he went to Africa - South Sudan (Juba) as part of the AMOR humanitarian mission, "Doctors of the world without borders", where he conducted operations for children with pathology of the maxillofacial region.
He is an academician of the International Academy of authors of scientific discoveries and inventions ,academician of the International Academy of Informatization (MAy, 2001), academician of the Russian Academy of medical and technical Sciences and a member of the Russian Academy of natural Sciences (RAEN, 2007), chief accredited expert of the Federal service for supervision of health and social development of ROSZDRAVNADZOR for pediatric dentistry (2011).
Collaborates with the international charitable Foundation "International Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation", located in Japan. Together with the parents of his patients he organized the Russian charity Foundation for children "Congenital cleft lip and palate" (June 01, 2001)
